“The Ruin” by Dylan Connell
Beth Wynstra and Mary Pinard return to Wabaunsee County to conduct auditions March 11-13
In the latter half of 2021, Beth and Mary collected stories, past and present, from Wabaunsee County residents. These stories will be woven into a completely new, unique script for Theatre at the Ruin, a community based theatre production in June 2022. While the Babson College professors adapted these stories and adventures into a script, Mike Lillich and his crew revitalized the limestone foundation of Otto Kratzer’s home in Volland. Dubbed the Ruin, the new space will host Theatre at the Ruin, and more events in future.

This is your chance to be part of a distinctly Wabaunsee County theatre production.
Between March 11-13, Beth and Mary will hold auditions from 10am-3:30pm (with an hour lunch at noon). The creative duo encourage all to audition, no experience necessary! Pinard and Wynstra are hoping for a cast of performers of all ages and abilities. Those who are auditioning do not need to prepare anything but are welcome to bring along a monologue, speech, song, or poem to perform. Pinard and Wynstra will have excerpts from the play at the audition for performers to read.
