Sally and The Hurts at Fish-A-Palooza

Three women with musical instruments; standing in front of a blue house. One plays violin, one holds a case, and one holds a guitar.

On Saturday, May 31st, Sally and The Hurts will perform at Volland’s first Fish-A-Palooza!

Sally Vee is a past Volland Resident and performed during 2024’s Fish Wizards Tour with a pop-up concert. Sally, Megan, and Jamie share their American Roots sound throughout western Kansas and eastern Missouri, and are regulars at the Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield, KS.

Don’t be surprised to see special musical guest Ray Troll hop in for a few tunes with the band. Ray, a Fish Wizard since 2024, is a musician and is known to carry his guitar with him on fishing excursions.

Please note this concert is part of the larger Fish-A-Palooza afternoon, which includes art making activities for kids, remarks by Ray Troll and Joe Tomelleri on their FISH BRO SHOW exhibition at Volland, a presentation by Trevor Starks from the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks’ Aquatic Species Recovery Program on Topeka Shiners and the Kansas Safe Harbor Program, plus an optional, paid fish dinner by Adam Waechter.
